At Pennywise Project, we believe that financial literacy is more than a life skill – it's a form of empowerment. Our mission is to equip children in underserved communities with the knowledge and confidence to make smart financial choices that can shape their futures.
We partner with schools to provide engaging, age-appropriate programs that meet students where they are. Through hands-on activities, classroom-ready materials, and teacher support, we help young learners build the skills they need to thrive – in school and in life.
Our work is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to build a secure, informed, and hopeful financial future, regardless of background.
I was fortunate to learn financial literacy at a young age – from understanding how to budget and save to thinking critically about long-term goals. Those early lessons shape how I approached opportunities, challenges, and choices.
I started Pennywise Project because I believe every child deserves that same foundation. Financial education shouldn't be a privilege – it should be a basic part of growing up. By reaching students early, especially in underserved communities, we can equip them with the tools to avoid financial pitfalls and build brighter futures.
This work is about equity, access, and empowerment. It's about ensuring all kids – regardless of background – feel confident, capable, and in control of their financial future.
Thank you for supporting this mission and helping us open doors for the next generation.
